Job Requirements
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and diagnose problems in machinery and related systems.
- Repair or replace worn or malfunctioning parts and equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure the coordination of services such as electrical and structural engineering.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document maintenance and repair work, creating detailed reports on interventions and outcomes.
- Set up and calibrate new equipment following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Use specialized tools and equipment for mechanical system adjustments.
- Provide support and guidance to junior technicians and other ancillary staff.
- Participate in training and workshops to stay updated with the latest technological advancements relevant to the field.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical and engineering principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using tools and technology for mechanical repairs and maintenance, specializing in the powder coating industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
