Perihan Gündağ Joins Qemtex as Head of R&D
Qemtex is delighted to announce the appointment of Perihan Gündağ, PhD, as the Head of Research and Development.
Gündağ states: "With its strategic emphasis on research and development and investments in innovation, Qemtex seeks to create long-term, sustainable solutions in the industry. I am thrilled to join Qemtex and contribute to the company's mission of delivering innovative, environmentally friendly solutions to customers worldwide. I am excited about the company’s goals for continued growth and global expansion. Our goal in R&D is to establish academic and commercial collaborations for sustainable products and offer innovative, high-quality products for the global market while continuing to follow all environmental regulations and standards."
Perihan Gündağ brings over 17 years of experience in the sol-gel coating and powder coating industries. She has held several roles in R&D, including Senior Chemist at Jotun in Türkiye, where she developed new products, adapted designs to customer facilities, conducted research, and managed government-funded projects.
At Qemtex, she will lead the R&D team in developing cutting-edge technology and products that align with the company's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. "We are confident that Perihan's expertise and leadership will help Qemtex achieve its goals and solidify its position as an industry leader," remarked Alexandr Glukhov, Qemtex CEO.
